Sustainability Report 2023: Ambro-Sol’s Progress
Ambro-Sol has published its 2023 Sustainability Report, marking another step forward in its commitment to sustainability. The year 2023 brought significant changes compared to the previous year, with new initiatives further strengthening the company’s dedication to the environment, people, and local communities.
What’s new in 2023:
- Expansion of Benefit Corporation status: Following the recognition achieved by the Polish branch in 2022, the French branch has also adopted Benefit Corporation status. This marks an important step in extending the company’s values across the entire group.
- Sustainable technological innovation: The new „Bag On Valve (BOV)” production line is nearly ready. This technology eliminates the use of traditional gases by replacing them with compressed air, reducing environmental impact and improving product quality.
- Focus on carbon footprint: A detailed analysis of the company’s Carbon Footprint was conducted, including two key products (Acrylic Paint and Multipurpose Lubricant), to monitor emissions and plan targeted reduction and compensation measures.
- Reforestation projects: Through Treedom, 15 new trees were planted in Kenya, bringing the company’s forest to a total of 365 trees. Additionally, with WOWnature, reforestation initiatives were supported at the Sebino Peat Bogs and Oglio Sud Park, offsetting 1,002 tons of CO₂.
A comparison with 2022
Compared to 2022, a year in which clear objectives were set, and numerous projects were launched, 2023 stands out for the expanded international scope of its initiatives, the adoption of more sustainable technologies, and increased focus on transparency and emissions monitoring. With this report, Ambro-Sol reaffirms that sustainability and innovation are central to its strategies for the future, benefiting the environment, people, and communities alike.
